On this day, I revisited my Dental Savings Plan (DSP) project presentation to refresh my memory and understanding of the content after shifting focus to my new schedule timing project. I carefully reviewed each slide for content and understanding. I also conducted multiple mock presentations with peers to simulate the delivery of the material out loud to a new audience like I will do for the actual presentation. Through these practice sessions, I gathered constructive feedback on clarity, wording, and overall flow of the presentation. I then incorporated these suggestions by refining my explanations and adjusting slide content to improve readability and effectiveness. This process helped strengthen my communication of key concepts and ensured that the presentation is clear, concise, and well-prepared for best understanding by the stakeholders of the UGA UHC Core Operations team.

Tuesday –  03/24/2026

On this day, I finalized the remaining details of my Dental Savings Plan presentation to improve overall clarity and ensure the content was easily understandable for stakeholders. I specifically redesigned the financial tables outlining procedure costs and profit margins to enhance readability and better communicate key takeaways. After completing these revisions, I delivered my formal presentation to the UHC Core Operations team, where I clearly explained the rationale, financial structure, and implementation plan for the DSP. Following the presentation, I responded to stakeholder questions and gathered valuable feedback, which led to a collaborative discussion about next steps and how the plan could be realistically implemented within the dental clinic’s current operations.

Wednesday – 03/28/2026

On this day, I revised my presentation slides based on stakeholder feedback from yesterday’s presentation, focusing on improving clarity and overall effectiveness. I then condensed the presentation to prepare a streamlined version for Beau Seagraves to share with the UGA Student Affairs team. This included removing research-heavy slides, reorganizing the remaining content, and rewording key points to ensure the material is clear, concise, and easily understood for further discussion of the Dental Savings Program.

  • This week, I primarily engaged with stakeholders throughout the presentation and feedback process of the Dental Savings Plan (DSP). I presented the finalized proposal to the UHC Core Operations team, where I shared the financial proposal, rationale, and implementation strategy of the DSP. Following the presentation, I responded to stakeholder questions and facilitated discussion regarding feasibility and next steps, allowing for collaborative input on how the DSP could be realistically implemented within the clinic. I then incorporated stakeholder feedback by revising and simplifying the presentation to be shared with the UGA Student Affairs team, ensuring continued engagement across departments.

  • Throughout this week, I continued synthesizing all collected data and analysis into a final, actionable presentation. By presenting the DSP to stakeholders and gathering their feedback, I was able to evaluate how well the findings translated into a practical plan. I then used this feedback to refine the structure and messaging of the presentation, ensuring that the reported findings clearly support decision-making and future planning for implementation of the Dental Savings Plan.

Week 10 Summaries 

During my tenth week with the UGA UHC Dental Clinic, I finalized and delivered my Dental Savings Plan presentation to the UHC Core Operations team, marking a major milestone in the project. At the beginning of the week, I revisited and practiced the presentation through multiple mock sessions to improve clarity, flow, and confidence in delivery. I incorporated feedback from these practice sessions by refining slide content and simplifying explanations to ensure the material would be easily understood by stakeholders.

After completing these revisions, I presented the DSP proposal to the Core Operations team, where I explained the access gap in preventive dental care, the financial model of the plan, and its potential for implementation within the clinic. Following the presentation, I engaged in discussion with stakeholders, answered questions, and gathered feedback regarding feasibility and next steps. This collaboration provided valuable insight into how the plan could be adapted for real-world application.
